This summer we are working our way through the book of James together. A couple of weeks ago we came up with our own section headings. It will be interesting to see if we change these up at all as we study the different passages a little more.


1:1 Greeting

1:2-18 Obedience through trials helps us grow

1:19-27 Action through the Word

2:1-13 Don’t show favoritism

2:14-26 Does faith work?

3:1-12 Watch yo mouf

3:13-18 Reigning wisdom

4:1-10 Worldly addiction vs Godly submission

4:11-12 Only God can judge

4:13-17 Living with eternal perspective

5:1-6 Storing up earthly treasures

5:7-12 Patiently waiting on the Lord

5:13-20 The power through prayer
